Based in the centre of Downham Market is one of NorseCare’s purpose-built Residential Care Homes, High Haven. High Haven is split into 3 units, the Reablement unit, the Dementia Care unit and the Residential Care unit. The home provides excellent care for up to 39 residents with facilities including several lounges, an attractive dining room, a conservatory and extensive gardens.
Oakes Court is an attractive Housing with Care scheme, with 30 self-contained flats, which have twenty-four-hour access to care. The scheme enjoys a good location on the edge of Downham Market, close to range of amenities.
What it’s like working at High Haven, Downham Market.
High Haven is a warm, friendly and homely environment. Every day is different, making your working day come with new challenges and experiences. At High Haven you can gain invaluable experience working within three different areas of care:
- The Nordelph unit is for Reablement Care, whereby up to 10 residents typically stay for 4 weeks. All staff will undergo Reablement training and work alongside the NHS, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and many more healthcare professionals.
- Marham Lodge is our Dementia Care secure unit. We provide Dementia care for up to 8 residents in this unit.
- Thirdly, the main unit is Residential Care where we provide care for up to 21 residents. We are also accredited with a six steps programme for quality end of life care.
