The NorseCare Shared Support Team is a crucial role for our organisation; the team is directly employed by us to provide holiday/absence cover to all of our establishments.

We offer contracted positions or you can join us on a casual basis, so an opportunity for you to work flexibly around your life.  The team provides support to cover our schemes within a radius that suits your own travel arrangements and enables you the freedom to work around your own commitments.  You also receive an enhancement for being ‘mobile’.

We currently have Care and Support Workers and Team Leaders on our Shared Support Team and given the expansion plans of this team, we would welcome any interest in joining this service.

Our Team Leaders have responsibility of overseeing and demonstrating good practice, values and standards of care in support of the Manager and Deputy Manager.

The Rewards

Shared Support Team Staff benefit from an enhanced rate of pay, known as a Flexibility Enhancement. They will earn an additional 50p per hour Monday to Friday and an additional £1 per hour at weekends*

Staff using their own vehicle to travel will be paid 25p per business mile and whether you work on contracted hours or on a casual basis, will be able to choose the days they work**

These fantastic benefits are exclusive to our Shared Support Team however, staff within this team also benefit from our wider company rewards.

**shift times may vary but will be in line with the establishment’s own rota. Staff on contracted hours will be expected to work their average weekly hours however, can choose their preferred days of work.
