NorseCare Career Routes

As part of NorseCare’s commitment to supporting new and existing careers with us we offer a range of formal qualifications and development pathways across both Health and Social Care roles and in supporting roles such as Business Administration. We offer progression and development opportunities from entry level through to Leadership and Management level.

We currently provide three stages of nationally recognised Diplomas in Health and Social Care and in Business Administration:

  • Intermediate Diploma – Level 2 (Equivalent GCSE/NVQ)
  • Advanced Diploma – Level 3 (Equivalent A Level/BTEC)
  • Higher Diploma – Level 5 (Equivalent HNC/HND)
Business Administration
  • Intermediate Diploma – Level 2 (Equivalent GCSE/NVQ)
  • Advanced Diploma – Level 3 (Equivalent A Level/BTEC)
  • Higher Diploma – Level 4 (Equivalent HNC/HND)

Emerging Talent Programme

We have created a year-long programme that will provide candidates with the knowledge and skills it takes to undertake the role of a NorseCare Home Manager, as well as understanding key aspects of the role by spending time with existing Managers and Head Office staff.

The course is designed to enhance leadership and management skills whilst facilitating the advance onto an accredited Level 5 programme (equivalent to a degree). Rotation activity to different home settings is then implemented to ensure that candidates experience all aspects of Care Home Management before stepping up into a management position.
